More from Mel Anastasiou

Mel doesn’t just illustrate Pulp Literature; she also illustrates her novels. Check out The Fairmount Manor Mysteries featuring Mrs Stella Ryman, an octogenarian sleuth in a down-at-heels care home, or The Extra: A Monument Studios Mystery, starring Frankie Ray, a Hollywood hopeful turned undercover sleuth in 1934.  For even more beautiful pen and ink work, see her writing guides and colouring books.

If you enjoy Mel’s work, you can join her and frequent contributor JJ Lee in person on Wednesday January 22nd at Café Duello in downtown Vancouver. Check out the details on our workshop page!

Mel Anastasiou loves her writing life in St Albans in the UK and on Bowen Island in BC. She writes mysteries, mostly starring older sleuths who are often fish out of water and gifted amateur ‘tecs. She is senior editor with Pulp Literature.

Mel can be found dancing in her garden for joy, walking for miles to look at inspired Victorian architecture, and eating scones with clotted cream and jam, thus the walking. You can find more of her artwork at Bird and Branch Artwork.
