Kris Sayer has swum with dolphins, dived with sharks, hiked ’round ‘Mount Doom’, fixed a flat in the outback, eaten a ridiculous number of dumplings, and sketched more swords than you can shake an eleventh-century-blade-with-questionable-origins at. In between all those things, she’s still made comics; ‘Linen, Leeks, and Blood’ is a prequel of sorts to her graphic novel Tatterhood, and it first appeared in The Witching Hours anthology. You can find all of her illustrated tales at wealdcomics.com, and pick up her comics and illustrations in Pulp Literature issues 2, 5, 6, 10, 11, 15, and 21.
