Issue 38, Spring 2023

Stories by Richard Thomas, FJ Bergmann, and Melanie Marttila let loose gods and ghosts, while Mitchell Toews and Sylvia Leong contemplate the ups and downs of good deeds. Both Stella Ryman and Toinette are on the road in new novel excerpts from Mel Anastasiou and JM Landels and our literary nest is full to the brim with highflyers from the Jack Whyte Storyteller Award and the Raven Short Story Contest!

Issue 39, Summer 2023

Friendship carries us forward in stories by Claire Humphrey, Kim Harbridge, and Mel Anastasiou. Meanwhile, Kevin Sandefur, Kelli Allen, and Liza Potvin remind us that family life offers its own kind of adventures. Jennifer Lott and Beatrice Morgan show us how to make wise use of our time. Matthew Nielsen and JM Landels offer up life’s full spectrum. Poetry takes us to the moon and madness. And the winners of the Bumblebees land us back on (somewhat) solid ground.

Issue 40, Autumn 2023

Our 40th issue takes us beyond the skies with feature author Robert J Sawyer and cover artist Tais Teng. We’ve got short fiction from Graham J Darling, Cat Girczyc, and CZ Tacks, with a silent graphic novel excerpt from Jordan Bray. Favourite heroines Stella Ryman and the Shepherdess are on the road once more with  Mel Anastasiou and JM Landels.  Plus we bring you the winners of the Magpie Award for Poetry, and revisit our first ever feature story by CC Humphreys!

Issue 41, Winter 2024

Cheers to the New Year! To celebrate our 10th anniversary, we’ve got familiar friends and new-to-our-pages authors. Finnian Burnett, JJ Lee, JM Landels, and Mel Anastasiou return to tell new tales. And EC Dorgan, Franco Amati, and Sierra Louie join the Pulp party. The winners of the Hummingbird Flash Fiction Prize land. And there’s poetry at this celebration, too. All this and more await beneath a painting by Melissa Mary Duncan, our very first cover artist!

This beautiful print collection makes a wonderful holiday gift … and a fine edition to your own bookshelf!
