Inspiration Awaits!
Whether it’s having time to write but not inspiration, or inspiration but words just not coming out right, now more than ever it’s important for us writer folk to take care. In Episode 9 of The Pulp Lit Pulpit, the editors discuss how they practise writerly self-care and offer some remedies to burnout — whether writing-related or not. As the editors discuss, self-care comes in many shapes and sizes so whether that’s taking a walk in the woods or taking an hour to listen to Episode 9 of this podcast, more power to you for carving out the time.
Also in this episode we have the pleasure of hearing from graphic artist WeiWei Xu (‘Chimaera’, Issue 28) who talks about comics and gets existential about non-written books. We hope you enjoy what they have to say, and be sure to check out their work at peevishpants on Twitter and Instagram or visit their website. You can also look forward to a Pulp Literature cover by Weiwei in the very near future!
Be sure not to miss Jen’s reading of the next part of Allaigna’s Song and Mel’s reading of the next chapter of Stella Ryman and the Fairmount Manor Mysteries.
