Planting the seeds for one’s writing
As writers, it’s easy to get a bit lost trying to navigate that forest of creativity (or a lack thereof), deadlines, queries, submissions, and the road to publication. Looking at it all at once can become overwhelming even for more experienced writers. In Episode 13, our editors discuss planting the seeds for your writing and what you can do now to benefit your writing career tomorrow.
Also in Episode 13, you can look forward to an exclusive interview with author Mitch Toews. Mitch is a Manitoba-based writer of flash fiction, short stories, CNF, and novellas, as well as being a two time Pushcart Nominee. Mitch’s story ‘Away Game’ appeared in Pulp Lit Issue 20 and his story ‘Piece of My Heart” was the winner of the Bumblebee Editors’ Choice award and appears in Issue 27. To find out more about what he’s up to, you can find Mitch on his website or on Twitter.
Be sure not to miss JM Landels’s reading of Allaigna’s Song where Lauresa’s journey through the dangerous Clearwater way continues, and Mel Anastasiou’s reading of Stella Ryman and the Fairmount Manor Mysteries where Stella is coming to realize who actually stole Mrs McAndrew’s money.
Thanks for reading and happy listening!
Your host,
Sam Olson
