Time to Poet!
Tis the season when spring’s early birds wake us in the wee hours. So, to celebrate these extra moments of writing time, we decided to extend the Magpie Award for Poetry deadline to Monday, April 22nd. You have another week to word it up!
First Prize is $500 and publication in Issue 44, Autumn 2024. And our two runners-up will each receive $50 and publication in Issue 44.
The Magpie Award is for previously unpublished poems of up to 100 lines in length.
The entry fee is just $35 for your first poem, and $10 for each subsequent poem. All entry fees include a 1-year digital subscription to Pulp Literature.
The contest closes April 15th April 22nd! And the winners will be announced mid-May.
