Last of the Ravens
It’s time to announce the winners of the 2024 Raven Short Story Contest!
Here’s what final judge Kelly Robson had to say about this year’s shortlisted stories:
“Many of this year’s stories eloquently conveyed the anxiety and instability of our current moment, exploring these existential fears through a wide variety of settings and points of view — historical, far future, extra-planetary, extra-human. It was an honour and a pleasure to read them all.”
And now, the winners…
Winner: ‘The Mall We Deserve’ by Shanley Kearney
Runner-up: ‘Providence’ by Emily Groot
You’ll be able to find both of these stories in Pulp Literature Issue 46, Spring 2025!
