Announcing the 2024 Kingfisher Poetry Prize Longlist!

Congratulation to these fine-feathered poets!

Our poetry editors, wife and husband team Emily Osborne and Daniel Cowper, have measured the virtues of each short, shining poem in our Kingfisher Poetry Prize entries.  They’ve chosen a longlist of twenty-eight outstanding contenders, and will now work to narrow that list to ten poems to send on to final judge Jude Neale. A (2) beside the poet’s name indicates two of their poems are advancing to the next round.
