Pulp Literature Press publishes select novels in addition to our quarterly magazine. We are open to manuscript queries on an ongoing basis. If you have a completed, polished manuscript for a novel, please read the following query guidelines carefully.
Genres
We accept most genres including but not limited to mystery, science fiction & fantasy, thriller, horror, contemporary, and literary fiction.
We do not accept children’s books, erotica, memoir, or non-fiction.
Queries
We only accept email queries.
- In the subject line of your email please enter QUERY: [the name of your novel].
- In the body of the email include
your name
contact information
the title, genre, and word count of your manuscript
a short bio
a short synopsis (under 500 words) - Paste the first 7500 words of your manuscript in the body of the email.
- Send to submissions(at)pulpliterature.com
Do not send attachments! Attachments will be deleted unopened. If we are interested in your novel we will request a word document.
We read manuscripts in January and July, but it may take several months after we have received a query to request further material. If you haven’t heard from us for at least six months after submitting it is likely the work isn’t a good fit for us.
We look forward to reading your work!
